Victor j. kreps
is a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), is the author of Del alma y el arte (1997), La recuperación del sentido (2007), La imaginación pornográfica (2017), and (with Richard Frankel) Human Virtuality and Digital Life(2022), winner of the NAAP’s Gradiva Award(2022) and the APA’s Courage to Dream book prize (2023).
Founder of the Jungian Circle of Peru and coordinator of the Latin American Posthumanism Network, his interdisciplinary work brings together philosophy, psychoanalysis, aesthetics, and posthumanism, exploring the challenges of contemporary culture. He is currently writing A Guide for the Poor Hedonist and (with Richard Frankel)Dreaming Life in the Digital Age.
