She is a training and supervising psychoanalyst from the Caracas Psychoanalytic Society, which is a component member of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA). She serves as the liaison between the Caracas Psychoanalytic Society and the IPA’s Committee on Women and Psychoanalysis. She is a member of the IPA and FEPAL (Federación Psicoanalítica de América Latina). She has published work in various international magazines and journals on topics related to gender, politics, sexual identities, aesthetics, etc. She holds a private practice in Miami.
